Retreat on SJI

  • Special 6-day, Deep Meditation Retreat

Tuesday Eve, October 21 – Monday Morning, October 27, 2025

Note: The retreat is for practicing meditators. It will be held on San Juan Island in WA state and in-person attendance is highly recommended, but those living outside WA state can attend remotely via Zoom if they wish.

Retreat Description

Any meditation retreat is a wonderful opportunity to take a break from your daily routine, deepen your experience of meditation, and reconnect with yourself and meaning in your life. Retreats can clear the windows of your perception and give you a whole new perspective, an amazing reset. Many come away from retreats feeling like newborns reentering the world with renewed wonder.

This retreat goes a big step further: This special retreat is designed to greatly deepen your meditation and your enjoyment of all the many benefits of meditation, including:

  • Deepened peace and calm
  • Increased joy
  • Greater mental clarity, creativity, and insight
  • More vitality and improved health
  • An opened heart, with deepened love and compassion for all
  • Feeling aligned with the divine and to living in a stream of grace

Because the retreat is a full 5 days and 6 nights, we’ll have time to dive deep into a range of practices. These will include not only deep meditation, but practices to clear and open your chakras, integrate prana (vital life force) throughout your system, connect with and receive the blessings of the Devas, and start to live in a flow of grace. We will also learn practices to develop compassion (karuna), friendliness (maitri), and happiness (mudita). There will be flexibility to tailor the retreat to meet the needs and desires of those attending. Finally, we’ll have lots of group meditation and discussion, and weather permitting, walking meditations along the coast of beautiful San Juan Island.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email Ajayan.

If meditation is more than just relaxation for you – if it’s a journey toward liberation and self-realization – I highly recommend a retreat with Ajayan. His home on San Juan Island, surrounded by breathtaking nature, creates the perfect space for deep practice and transformation. Learning from his direct experience and wisdom is truly invaluable. His love for meditation and the energy he shares make the experience even more powerful! I left deeply inspired, with profound insights and a stronger connection to my inner energy. Not only did I experience Kundalini more intensely than ever, but I also learned to engage with it consciously and continue activating it on my own. This retreat was a gateway to deeper awareness and renewed dedication to the path. —Marina Guryeva

Prerequisites

  • This retreat is for you if you have had a regular meditation practice for at least 5 years.

Retreat location

Samadhi House on San Juan Island, Washington state. If you live outside of WA state and wish to attend remotely via Zoom, you can.

Cost: $795 (includes retreat, meals, and onsite accommodations)

The cost of the retreat if you attend virtually is the same, though if you live in a country with substantially lower average income than the US, discounts are available (as they are for all my courses). This 6-night retreat is priced the same as past 3-night retreats, so is already highly discounted, and it’s important that virtual participants feel the same commitment to attend all sessions as they would were they in-person.

To Register: Email Ajayan.

The Awaken Kundalini meditation retreat I did this weekend with Ajayan was very powerful. I learned some amazing techniques that I am excited to use at home. Ajayan’s descriptions are quite detailed and complete, which helped deepen my meditation practice. —Diane Urlich

I learned more effective meditation techniques at Ajayan’s weekend retreat than months of learning with other teachers and methods. If you’re serious about improving the quality of your life, learn from the best to be the best possible you. —Susie A.

Since the retreat I’ve been amazed at the energy I feel. It has completely up-leveled my energy, my joy, and a sense of overall well-being and lightness. What an unexpected gift! —Jyoti Paramjyoti
